Validating Your AI Persona
Overview
Once you’ve crafted your AI persona’s system prompt and completed the setup process, the next critical step is initial testing. This phase ensures that the persona’s responses align with its defined identity, tone, and purpose. Initial testing allows you to catch any deviations from the expected behavior early on and make necessary adjustments through fine-tuning.
Step 1: Start Testing the Persona
Using the System Prompt
Begin by interacting with the AI persona using simple, direct questions that should trigger responses based on the system prompt you’ve established.
Key Questions to Ask:
- "Who are you?"
- "What is your name?"
- "What is your role?"
Expected Responses:
- If your persona is defined as "B-Bot, a specialized business assistant," the AI should respond with something like, "I am B-Bot, your virtual business assistant." If the response is generic, such as simply "I am an assistant," it indicates that the AI is not fully aligning with the system prompt, and further fine-tuning will be required.
Step 2: Testing the Persona in the Hub
Switch to the Chat Section
Once the initial creation of the persona is complete, move on to thorough testing by accessing the chat section of the B-Bot Hub:
- Navigate to the Chat Section: In the Hub, switch to the chat interface. Here, you’ll be able to select your newly created expert persona from a list of available AIs.
- Start Interacting: Begin a conversation with the persona to evaluate how well it performs in real-world scenarios. Pay close attention to whether the responses match the persona’s identity and the tone you’ve defined in the system prompt.
Step 3: Utilize Testing Tools in the Hub
